Desire

Artist Jordan Nassar A Lost Key
2019

A strong wish for something is the Voice of God in your heart asking you to take the next step forward. That is the way in which the Great Mind is communicating with you at the moment. A strong wish is a sacred thing to be received with the greatest respect and handled with the highest wisdom.

Adrenaline highs

Keita Morimoto, Calling You, 2024

Let’s be honest! There’s a certain thrill that comes with living on the edge. There is a thrill that accompanies the struggle to hang on. There’s a certain thrill people get from the urgency of holding things together or keeping them from falling apart. People who live on the edge can become so addicted to the adrenaline rush of the drama that they depend on crises to make them feel important. When you are struggling on the edge, you have something to do. When there is a problem to solve or a crisis to overcome, you feel needed. When you make desperate attempts to overcome the problems and difficulties you face, you feel validated. This gives you a temporary high called busy-ness. For some people, being busy makes life worth living. People who live on the edge are always busy avoiding something, getting over something or getting through one thing or an-other. In most cases, they never quite make it over to the other side, but they can tell exciting stories about the struggle just to hang on.

Spiritual bypassing

Welwood observed that people who were engaged in spiritual practices could use them to "bypass certain kinds of per-sonal, emotional 'unfinished business'" and that this could lead to serious traps on their spiritual path.

Avoiding or prematurely transcending the integration of "basic human needs, feelings, and developmental tasks" could lead people "to use spiritual practice to make their personal needs or establish their identity, and this just doesn't work."

Neither can spiritual practices necessarily integrate difficult events that happen in adulthood. When trauma, PTSD, or painful emotions are numbed, repressed, or transcended-instead of being brought into awareness, acknowledged, and addressed-one's difficult emotional history is entrenched, not relieved of its emotional charge. Strong emotional childhood experiences can so often lead to skewed interpretations about who one is and who one is not, and what one is capable of or not, and these are inevitably acted on.

This is why the importance of subconscious deep imagery to heal and integrate those old aspects of self that are causing current pain.

Eclipse

Artist Wanda Koop

Eclipse meaning

b: to reduce in importance or repute

b: a falling into obscurity or decline

Let the big feelings tell their own story. It’s most likely about the past. What wants to be done for good and for all?

This eclipse is the time. You can only move forward efficiently without baggage; let this eclipse help you to let go of your past pain and bring you a peaceful realization.

Strong feelings come because they are ready to be released. You may need deeper clarity and understanding allow that, ask yourself questions keep asking until you intuitively know you have hit on something. The awareness itself is a huge release, let your mind soften and be still. You don't have to rush anything and certainly don't try to control it. It's only part of your work; the rest is left to the Universe.

Be thankful and keep going forward.

Reparenting

Marc Chagall, Birthday, 1915 / Words by Carl Jung

We relied on our parents so much for care and survival we took on their shame, unconsciously supporting them. It’s now time to become aware of that dynamic and be willing to let it go.. turn it over to God/ Divine Transformation

Intuition

Artist Paul Cupido Atmosphere

How do you have more of a grasp on intuition?

Because we were not taught that intuition is an important part of our existence, it has been placed way back there with other aspects of our lost self.

A strong reliance on fulfilling only the roles put before us through society has been placed at the forefront, which includes producing action, strain, and force.

It takes time to build a partnership with your intuition, which you can use in your own clarity exercises. Ask for specific understanding and then wait for it to come through. Ask to be shown to be guided by Divine intelligence and trust without any doubt. You must follow this intuitive practice until it becomes so much a part of you that you cannot remember a moment without it.

You were not taught this, so it won’t feel familiar. I know it’s asking a lot to trust and rely on your intuitive heart. It does require more lift within your worth and value, yes, for sure. It will test your nervous system and feel just plain weird. You will wonder who else does this. None of that matters because what is important here is that you do it. You do it because your worth depends on it. And your worth attracts good into your life every day.

When we use societal methods, we push down and away our authenticity, eventually hurting ourselves.

Once you experience what it’s like to bring about incredible change through the simple act of working with your intuition, you will be amazed, and more will be revealed to you.

Take five minutes and lean into asking and listening for your answers. Take time with it, a few days or weeks, and your ears open to hear that voice or nudge that can and will appear through feelings or dreams, reading, driving, wherever and whenever, within or without.

Discover your nudge…then let us talk over a session about how to shift the energy within the subconscious to continue to create exceptional outcomes.

"Intuition is the key to everything, in painting, filmmaking, business - everything. I think you could have an intellectual ability, but if you can sharpen your intuition, which they say is emotion and intellect joining together, then a knowingness occurs."

David Lynch

Everything is energy

Pablo Picasso, Seated Woman, 1927

This isn’t woo-woo. This is actually science. As Albert Einstein said, “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. There can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

Letting the Hero Die

Saul Steinberg, View of the World from 9th Avenue (1976)

Article by Paul Weinfield

Leonard Cohen said his teacher once told him that, the older you get, the lonelier you become, and the deeper the love you need. This is because, as we go through life, we tend to over-identify with being the hero of our stories.

This hero isn’t exactly having fun: he’s getting kicked around, humiliated, and disgraced. But if we can let go of identifying with him, we can find our rightful place in the universe, and a love more satisfying than any we’ve ever known.

People constantly throw around the term “Hero’s Journey” without having any idea what it really means. Everyone from CEOs to wellness-influencers thinks the Hero’s Journey means facing your fears, slaying a dragon, and gaining 25k followers on Instagram. But that’s not the real hero’s journey.

In the real hero’s journey, the dragon slays YOU. Much to your surprise, you couldn’t make that marriage work. Much to your surprise, you turned forty with no kids, no house, and no prospects. Much to your surprise, the world didn’t want the gifts you proudly offered it.

If you are foolish, this is where you will abort the journey and start another, and another, abusing your heart over and over for the brief illusion of winning. But if you are wise, you will let yourself be shattered, and return to the village, humbled, but with a newfound sense that you don’t have to identify with the part of you that needs to win, needs to be recognized, needs to know. This is where your transcendent life begins.

So embrace humility in everything. Life isn’t out to get you, nor are your struggles your fault. Every defeat is just an angel, tugging at your sleeve, telling you that you don’t have to keep banging your head against the wall. Leave that striver there, trapped in his lonely ambitions. Just walk away, and life in its vastness will embrace you.

Victims of perspective

Artists Julia Haft Candell The Yearning

We are a victim of perspective, not our circumstances.

We try to control our circumstances because we think the problem comes from outside of us, which constantly puts us in fight-or-flight mode. Instead, it comes from our subconscious views of ourselves projected outwards.

For now, turn away from what's happening in your life and tune into what's going on within you. Are your reactions based on what you're not getting or what feels like something is being taken? Connect with the anxiety and ask where this is coming from. You are likely to uncover an unmet need from an earlier part of your life that is coming up to be integrated.

Give yourself what you need here imagining being held and listened to. Take another moment and connect with Source Energy asking for deep grace at this time.

Whatever it is, know that you are constantly being shown where you need Divine grace to return to your innate wholeness.

Living in your power

Artist Catherine Goodman 2023

Living in your power is what makes you the they are most attractive. Not the false power of ego. Being dishonest, creating chaos, putting others down. False power masks deeper insecurities, which are used for protection.

What I do when I'm faced with my own shadowy parts of self…

  1. Name it and claim it. If I cannot name it or claim it, the energy cannot be transformed.

  2. Go to Source immediately or as soon as I remember to, as a person who has grown deep into self-will, it has taken along time for me to ask for spirit guidance and support.

  3. Community engagement with others who have shifted from what I'm experiencing and can give me love and support through their experience and strengthening words of wisdom expands my possibilities.

"The moment you realize you are not present, you are present. Whenever you are able to observe your mind you are no longer trapped in it."

Eckhart Tolle

Manifesting

Artist Stanley Whitney's By the Love of Those Unloved (2004)

We are manifesting all the time. What is it that is showing up to inform you about where you are and on what level of worth are you calling it in from?

Where do you still believe that you are not something? In what area of your life does this show up the most? Is there an attitude or behavior that stands in as authenticity, but isn't? Where is settling for less showing up?

Ask yourself in quiet meditation these questions, and listen for the peaceful pause and subtle but profound truth.

If you need any guidance I look forward to connecting over a session.

"I could not live in any of the worlds offered to me — the world of my parents, the world of war, the world of politics. I had to create a world of my own, like a climate, a country, an atmosphere in which I could breathe, reign, and recreate myself when destroyed by living. That, I believe, is the reason for every work of art."

Anaïs Nin

Success

Robert Motherwell

The way you view yourself is mirrored in how others view you and how you’re able to co-create with The Divine.

Do you view yourself as a success now or that you are on your way towards it? Why or why not?

"It is only when we have the courage to face things exactly as they are, without any self-deception or illusion, that a light will develop out of events, by which the path to success may be recognized." Debbie Ford

How to untangle the not’s

Artist Cathy Josefowitz ca. 1993

There is a deeper fear that continues to drive us and that fear is what I'm not going to have or what I'm not going to get.

When we are focused on the nots in our lives we are truly knotted within and our aims are misdirected, we end up living in our heads thinking that we are completely powerless.

Fear is the director forcing you into a role that starts to feel very restrictive and painful.

How to begin to untangle the not’s is to first recognize them for what they are. Plain old fear. Something that can be traced back to anytime in your life. Investigate and get down to the root of it and ask why I have this fear. What’s its purpose what's it trying to show me?

Most likely it's to bring you up and out of it through showing you where all of your power is going. Fear is powerless and physically depleting so it shows up in places where you feel limited and unable to do anything about.

Face it and become willing to let it inform you about where you need help and healing and ask for it.

Put yourself first and trust your path opening continuously.

"Your fear will always be triggered by your creativity, because creativity asks you to enter into realms of uncertain outcome, and fear hates uncertain outcome."

THE IMAGINAL REALM & CO-CREATION

Artist DANIELLE joy MCKINNEY

Rainer Maria Rilke was among those who have pointed to the influencing power of visualization: "You must give birth to your images; they are your future waiting to be born." Most people are already in possession of internal images of what they would like to see happen in their own lives and can easily see them in their mind's eye.

This innate capacity to 'think in pictures' can easily be extended to visually imagining what would also serve our collective good, say, a vision of a unified and compassionate humanity emerging out of this chaotic chapter of its history.

“Wisdom first speaks in images”

- W. B. YEATS

Love yourself

luigi benedicenti

'Love yourself. Then forget it. Then, love the world.'

Mary Oliver

How do we love ourselves? We can only do so by recognizing what we don’t like about ourselves when we see this love will naturally be there because it’s not something we have to strive for we are made of it.

Dionysus

Young Sick Bacchus-Caravaggio 1593

How did we lose Dionysus? Psychologically, the story of his loss is the triumph of rationality over irrationality, thinking over feeling; the concrete

"masculine " ideals of power, aggression, and progress over the intangible "feminine" values of receptivity, growth, and nurturing.

- ROBERT A. JOHNSON

A clear understanding

IF WE HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF OURSELVES WE BECOME THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE ON EARTH.

WHERE WE BECOME COMPASSIONATE, KIND, PEACEFUL.

WHERE WE NO LONGER HAVE ANYTHING TO FIGHT.

WE NO LONGER WISH TO CHANGE ANYBODY OR ANYTHING.

WE LEAVE EVERYTHING ALONE JUST THE WAY IT IS INCLUDING OURSELVES ESPECIALLY.

WE STOP FEELING SORRY FOR OURSELVES BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE WHAT WE THINK WE SHOULD HAVE OR BECAUSE WE HAVE WHAT WE THINK WE SHOULD'T HAVE.

Words Robert Adams
